LMTerm places a Brazilian flag on its facade
LMTerm’s headquarters, located in São José dos Campos (SP), in Eldorado Business and Industrial Center, now has a Brazilian flag.
The company’s director, Luciano Micheletto, conceived the project: “It has been a dream for many years. The patriotism and pride of being Brazilian fuel us to foster the development of our nation and our industry. We all need to be united in the industry and fight for the same ideals.”
Patriotism and civility mean respect and love for the country and its symbols, such as the Flag, the National Anthem, the Flag Anthem, and the Independence Anthem. To be a patriot is to defend the country’s interests and work to construct a better Brazil and a fairer society.

LMTerm designs and supplies bespoke CFRC grids and devices
LMTerm designs, develops, and manufactures CFRC (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Carbon) grids and devices for vacuum furnaces dedicated to industry segments such as mechanical metal, automotive, solar, semiconductor, aeronautical, aerospace, mining, heat treatment in general, among others. Projects are designed and simulated according to the needs and applications of each customer.
Among the benefits of CRFC is the low thermal load, which allows for faster heating and cooling and energy reduction during each cycle. On the other hand, the load capacity is more significant, which allows for improved productivity. Besides, the system is modular, allowing the repair of individual parts in case of damage.

Unicamp validates ABACO®️ PVD coating as effective against Coronavirus
LMTerm, in partnership with the Italian company Protec, validated, after tests carried out by the Biology Institute of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), that the PVD ABACO®️ (AntiBActerial COating) coating, in addition to its bactericidal effects, is also effective against Coronavirus.
ABACO®️ can be used to cover metallic and non-metallic surfaces, such as doorknobs, bathroom metals, cutlery, and household utensils. “Can you imagine being able to press the elevator button without worrying? Open and close a door or faucet without being afraid of getting contaminated? The change is drastic in terms of technology and protection. Consequently, cross-contact transmission can be avoided.”

LMTerm innovates and performs furnace assembly in an unprecedented way
Pandemic and closed borders. This scenario made LMTerm, a specialist in heat treatment technology from São José dos Campos, leave the obvious and reinvent itself to assemble a vacuum furnace in Colombia. The equipment sent from Italy arrived in Bogota in February and was waiting for the visit of technicians from the company joseense to go into operation.
“We thought that the closing of the borders would be temporary; however, that was not the case. So we had to devise a strategy so that the customer could be served”, said the company director, Luciano Micheletto, who stressed that he had never considered carrying out the work, full of details and highly technical, from miles away.
