High-precision detectors capable of diagnosing and measuring tiny leaks
A team capable of locating, measuring, and correcting leaks in equipment with a vacuum system
LMTerm performs leak tests with state-of-the-art portable equipment capable of detecting small losses in the range of 1E-12 mbar*l/sec.
The leak detector, which has a mass spectrometer capable of detecting gas molecules, is connected to the vacuum chamber. Helium gas is sprayed on the outside of the equipment, entering the leak, and immediately finding it. Thus, it is possible to measure the quantity, showing the size of the leak.
The same occurs when pressuring a device with helium gas and using the detector to find the leak with a sniffer.
Leaks in equipment with a vacuum system can cause significant problems if not detected quickly and adequately corrected. Signs include loss of vacuum/pumping delay, degradation of the thermal chamber, altered coloring of parts, process problems, and much more.
